Spring Break: Colorado Round Two

Arapahoe Basin

I’ve got a major case of the Mondays. This Monday is especially bad because I’m back to school after a blissful week of California and Colorado vacationing. I spent the first half of the week in the San Francisco Bay Area and the second half in Dillon, Colorado.

I’m evidently very fond of french toast because the three times that I went to brunch over break ended in me devouring plates of french toast. The left picture is from Katy’s Korner in San Ramon, California and the right picture is from Sideboard in Danville, California. I love both of these places and love brunch. Other than eating my way through the bay, I spent a lot of time in the back yard with our dog and looking through antique shops and boutiques.

On Thursday, I flew to Colorado with Chris and his family. We stayed by the marina in Dillon, CO and skied during the day at Arapahoe Basin. It was great to spend the weekend doing my favorite things. In Denver, we ate at a few really great restaurants. Cafe Brazil in Denver for tapas/appetizers hit the spot after a long day of flying. Washington Park Grill was also delicious. Can you guess what I got there? (This was the third place of french toast…)

All in all, I’m so happy how my second to last spring break turned out. It was so nice to part relax-part shred the slopes. I can’t wait to see what our next adventure will be!IMG_4172

What did you do over your Spring Break? xoxo
