DREAM big, PRAY big

There is N O T H I N G that is too big for our God. There is no task too difficult, no problem too overwhelming, and no issue unsolvable.

So why are we so afraid to pray big prayers? Why are we afraid to ask God for things that we want, that we need, that we yearn for when we believe that He is all knowing, sovereign over everything [2 Samuel 7:28], when he wants to prosper us [Jeremiah 29:11] and work through us for a purpose [Ephesians 1:11]?

Jesus didn’t die on the cross to make us normal [Galatians 1:10]. God didn’t sacrifice His only Son to make us part of this world, to only give us a reason for scrape by life, to walk through without interest or passion. He gave us the ultimate sacrifice of love because He wanted us in His eternal kingdom of Heaven. He gave us a reason to live, to change, and to ignite.

So why not trust? Why not give your biggest, craziest, most outrageous dreams over to Him?

What would you do if you couldn’t fail? And now, if you have this God of the Word, of these Heavens and this Earth, why are you expecting to fail?

If you don’t open your eyes to what the Lord is doing, how will you ever be changed in huge, radical, ridiculous ways? If you aren’t praying huge prayers and acknowledging His power, how will you ever know that God’s radical sovereignty is making those dreams come true?

If my dreams are big, my God is still bigger. If my problem is too big, it’s just the right size to hand over to God. He will accomplish incredible things through each and every one of us when we align ourselves to Him. If we believe, there will be bigger and greater things [John 14:12].

I will pray big prayers. I will give my biggest dreams over to God, knowing that He will work for the best. I will trust in His incredible plan and the fact that His grace is sufficient for me. I will pray to understand that His timing is perfect when my prayers aren’t answered according to my impatience.

DREAM big, PRAY big.
